The neighborhood balances busy and calm areas, with several bars in convenient locations despite its generally peaceful atmosphere. Bus lines provide accessible transit options, and parking is typically convenient with a short drive to the nearest highway.

Rancho Charleston offers an unique mix of areas that are both busy and quiet. Even though the ambience is not the liveliest in this part of the city finding one of the approximately 20 bars is easy because they are generally situated in quite convenient locations. At the same time, most areas in this part of the city are very quiet, as the streets are very peaceful. It is occasionally difficult to access green spaces within the neighborhood since they aren't well-spread out. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to relax in.
